dc.descriptionThis study has 3 objectives : 1) to construct participatory community curriculums dealing with community culture, local wisdom and profession, at Tambon Baan Waen, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province 2) to study and support the community participation on community educational management, and 3) to encourage local tourism with the process of constructing community curriculum. From the study, there are 5 participatory community curriculums were constructed: Folk music, “Salor and Sueng” ; Wood Carving of 16 inches Buddha Image; Product Decoration by “Dern Sen”; Hariphunchai Dance; and the English lessons on Community Guide for primary students. The study also reveals that community participation on community educational management can occur in different pattern at every management step : Community Study, Planning, Teaching, Curriculum Consideration, Evaluation of Student Achievement, Curriculum Evaluation, General management in school, and Research Result Feedback. The participation, however, depends on the people’s status, situation, and readiness at a certain time. The research results, moreover, show that the processes of the community curriculum development support and encourage community tourism in term of the data preparation for tourists, English language and how to be an impressive host. The culture and surrounding conservation and the souvenir preparation are also support eco-tourism. Furthermore, the career training from using local wisdom is the tourist interesting point. The benefits gaining from the research are activities dealing with local wisdom for the youths’ personality development, community learning of educational management by community, good realization and spirit toward their own community, the strong empowerment among the community leader, the people, the community fund and the school administrators, the clear policy to inherit local wisdom for the teachers and the school administrators. The suggestions of the research are the community study must be planned every step with every community section and organization; the educational management training should be done with the community leaders, especially, educational management people of the district administrative office as a pre-process of the study; and the research based on community enhances community learning and is proved to be life long. The further studies which are recommended are 1) the participatory action researches on knowledge management of local wisdom to construct local community curriculum. 2) the preparation model development on primary educational management for the people of the district administrative office. 3) the project evaluation on community educational management by own community.th_TH
