dc.descriptionThe purposes of this research were to construct English lessons for traditional Thai masseurs by participation of people in the community, to compare their English speaking ability before and after using the lessons, and to study satisfaction of traditional Thai masseurs towards the English lessons. The sample group were 35 masseurs in Doi Saket hot spring, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province. There are three types of research instruments. The first type was used for designing and constructing English lessons which was a questionnaire asking about the need in English-speaking skill development for traditional Thai masseurs. The second type of instruments was used for evaluating the effectiveness of the English lessons which was the evaluation form of effectiveness of the lessons. The third type was used for collecting data, which comprised of speaking ability evaluation form used before and after using the lessons, English lessons for traditional Thai masseurs, and Satisfaction towards English lessons evaluation form. The data obtained were analyzed by using percentage, means and standard deviation. The findings of the research were as follows: 1. The effectiveness of English lessons for traditional Thai masseurs by participation of people in the community was at high level which has average score at 4.17. 2. English speaking ability of the traditional Thai masseurs after studying the lessons was higher than the score before using the lessons. Their speaking ability after using the lessons was at good level (the average score was at 72 percent.). which passed the criteria. 3. Satisfaction towards English lessons of the traditional Thai masseurs was at high level. The average score was at 4.02.th_TH
dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยโดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถทางด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยก่อนและหลังการเรียนด้วยบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษที่สร้างขึ้น และเพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยที่มีต่อบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทย ประชากรในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยในอำเภอดอยสะเก็ด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยในพื้นที่เขตน้ำพุร้อน อำเภอดอยสะเก็ดจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 35 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แบบสอบถามความต้องการในการพัฒนาทักษะการพูดภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทย 2) บทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบการนวดแผนไทย จำนวน 5 บท 3) แบบประเมินประสิทธิภาพบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทย 4) แบบประเมินความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ 5) แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจเกี่ยวกับบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทย หลังจากเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ผู้วิจัยนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป เพื่อหาค่าสถิติ ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. บทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยโดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.17 มีประสิทธิภาพอยู่ในระดับมาก 2. ความสามารถทางด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยหลังการเรียนด้วยบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้น จากระดับพอใช้ (ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนเท่ากับร้อยละ 61) เป็นระดับดี (ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนเท่ากับร้อยละ 72) ซึ่งผ่านเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด 3. ความพึงพอใจของผู้ประกอบอาชีพนวดแผนไทยที่มีต่อบทเรียนภาษาอังกฤษอยู่ในระดับมาก (ค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.02)th_TH
