Abstract

This research aims to ( 1) study the effects of development of reading thai alphabet for children with special needs in primary education level by using small book and (2) compare the development of reading thai alphabet for children with special needs in primary education level before and after by using small book. The research is experimental the target group is children with special needs groups who have difficulty reading thai alphabet, the Grade 1, a total of 10 samples were selected purposively (Purposive sampling) and tools were: (1) Small Book (2) evaluate a small book (3) test the skills of reading thai alphabet. Small Book the statistics used for data analysis and conformity assessment (IOC), mean percentage and standard deviation. The results were found that (1) After a small book of children with special needs groups who have difficulty reading thai alphabet, abilities in reading thai alphabet, level is very good. (2) The ability to read thai alphabet primary education of children with special needs groups who have difficulty reading thai alphabet that are taught by the teaching kits consisting of a small book. today found that children with special needs groups who have difficulty reading thai alphabet ability to reading thai alphabet can be improved.
